About DreamSketch

DreamSketch is an independently operated service based in Los Angeles, California. It provides private dream journaling, AI-assisted visual storytelling, creative reflection, and private sharing tools.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to create an account or use DreamSketch. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you can enter into these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for protecting access to your email, Google account, one-time codes, and devices. Contact support@dreamsketch.org if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your content and reference photos

You retain your rights in dream text, names, photos, and other content you submit. You grant DreamSketch a limited license to host, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to provide features you request. You must have permission to upload and use every reference photo, including permission from recognizable people where required.

AI-generated content

Dream Cards, images, character references, and Dream Insights may be generated by artificial intelligence. Results can be inaccurate, fictional, biased, incomplete, or similar to results created for others. DreamSketch does not guarantee ownership, exclusivity, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Review every result before using or sharing it. See the AI Content Notice.

Creative reflection only

DreamSketch is not healthcare, therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, financial advice, legal advice, or another professional service. Do not rely on Dream Insights to make medical, mental health, safety, legal, financial, or other high-impact decisions. If you may be in danger or experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.

Acceptable use

You may not use DreamSketch to violate law or another person's rights; upload content without permission; create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery; exploit, impersonate, threaten, harass, or defraud someone; probe or bypass security; automate abusive requests; resell accounts or credits; or interfere with the service. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.

Credits and PayPal purchases

Recording dreams is free. Optional AI features use DreamSketch credits. Credit packages are one-time purchases in U.S. dollars, processed by PayPal. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are not a bank account, stored-value account, cryptocurrency, or subscription. Prices and generation costs are shown before purchase or use and may change prospectively.

Refunds and reversals

Credit purchases are governed by the Refund Policy. Approved refunds, payment reversals, or chargebacks may remove the corresponding credits from your account. We will not delete already generated work solely because a refund creates a negative credit balance, but further paid generation may be unavailable until the balance is resolved.

Private sharing

Private share links can be opened by anyone who receives the link. You control whether to create or revoke them and are responsible for choosing recipients. DreamSketch excludes original dream text, account identifiers, private person photos, and three-view reference assets from the public share payload, but recipients may copy content they can view.

Optional homepage gallery

You may separately submit a Dream Card image and its title for anonymous display on the DreamSketch homepage. Submissions are reviewed before publication and can be withdrawn from the Dream Card at any time. Your account name, dream text, narration, person tags, private photos, and reference assets are not included. Homepage visitors may still save or copy content that is publicly displayed.

Service changes and account deletion

Features may change, pause, or end, and third-party services may become unavailable. You can delete individual content or request account deletion from Settings. Some payment, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained where reasonably required by law or legitimate operational needs.

DreamSketch intellectual property

The DreamSketch name, interface, design, software, and service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, sell, or create a competing service from those materials except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. DreamSketch does not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free AI output, or that every feature will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DreamSketch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law and disputes

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact support and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, disputes may be brought in courts with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after a change may be subject to the updated Terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to support@dreamsketch.org.
